Gluey gummy psychedelic rock from Cankun, the latest project of Vincent Caylet. Formerly known as Archers by the Sea, Vincent is well known for the seemingly untouchable panoply of cassettes he’s cranked out during his career.

RIYL: Sun Araw, High Wolf, Peaking Lights, James Ferrero, Explosions in the Sky

1. Slow start leads into a prog-rocker with washes of guitar, drum machine and great swirly effects.
2. Midtempo meltdown—a stone soup of looped riffs, steady Roland jams, and a choice smattering of distorted vocals.
*3. Wah-wah pedals galore, jaunty drums, searing white-hot riffs. Sun Araw would be proud.
*4. Syrupy swirl of guitar and fuzzy drum machine. Awesome layering techniques.
*5. Dazed and confused. Late night acid binge while wandering the set of John Carpenter’s Escape from New York. Melty guitar effects and a sultry gyrating drum rhythm.
*6. Washed-out 80s Casio surfwave vibes. Megabats and Rangers fans will adore this one.
