COLL: Re:Sender Vol. 1 Label: Sender
This 4-track EP features some tracks from Sender's archives, remixed by various new folks in the game. This is a nice little collection of really groovy house tracks that are fun to listen to but even more fun to dance to. I'd say the winners are "Plastic Smile" (#1) and "People Won't Blame" (#4).
1. 7:22 "Plastic Smile" - Dope Funky house! Stripped down to just the essentials, a simple bassy groove, some hi-hats, a few echo-y vocal samples, that's it. Fun.
2. 5:58 "Second Skin" - Electro-fied house, trippy warbly synths, catchy melody
3. 6:37 "Summerbreeze" - Loopy house, simple synth melodies, bubbly beat, a vocal sample that says "on the checkout queue"
4. 6:11 "People Won't Blame" - Cute & catchy electro house flavored with funky little melodies and some congas.
