Holy moly, this is an excellent EP of fantastic funky disco and house! Berlin-based Max Graef should be given a trophy for his commitment to the legacy of Funkadelic, Parliament, and Farley Jackmaster house music. Graef shows that Berlin's got funk AND soul. They vary in tempo from the sub-120 disco-funk (#1) to Afro-Latin disco (#3) and banging dancefloor house (#2). All three tracks are stellar. Do not miss a single one.

1. Jungle (5:16) - SOOOO good! Deep head-noddingly funky dirty disco track with a vibe straight from the streets. A bit of cowbell, a sexy R&B vocal snippet, and some deep synths & beats. Very nice opener. Think "beatdown sounds" from Detroit (Theo Parrish, Mike Clark) - all sub 120bpm and super-sexy groove.

2. "Ignorance is bliss" (6:32) - Slammin' house beats with chilled-out synth loops and playful blasts of video-game laser-guns. Pounding good fun!

3. "Zitze" (5:35) - Awesome and funky deep-disco-house with great Afro-Latin percussion. Bursts of spiritual vocals & claps, with classic synth loops. SOOOO good and funky!
