Artist: Deep Teens /// Album: Deep Teens
LOCAL SF BAND!!! Saw them live and thought they sounded like Dead Kennedys gone deathrock / goth. The songs are on the edge of punk (Dead Kennedys, Flipper) and Post-punk with occasional screamed vocals. Awesome live and every song on this album is good. Possible FCCs on #1,
3 and 5 are my favorites.
1.) Possible FCC, might say f-word. Rocking song though
2.) Slow sparse plod into tight jangley punk sound
3.) > > > Beautiful sparse surfy post-punk with a good build-up
4.) Dissonant driving punk (Dinosaur Jr. vs Flipper)
5.) > > > Tribal drums and emotive singing with just the right amount of dissonance.
