After an 11-year wait, the Funeral Doom masters are back with this monumental release. Featuring ‘shorter’ tracks, the band delivers tons of great ideas and soul-crushing music in this one. Be prepared to feel lethargic for the next several months after properly digesting this piece. For fans of Thergothon, Evoken, Esoteric, Mournful Congregation, Ahab and Skepticism.

1. (10:48) Somber opener featuring minimalistic riffs and majestic vocals late in the track. (4.5 out of 5)
2. (10:56) The growls combined with the atmosphere make this song more oppressive that your average Funeral Doom song. (4.5 out of 5).
3. (10:20) Slow progressing thick slab of Doom. Again the male/female clean vocals add that extra level of eeriness to the music. (5 out of 5)
4. (06:02) Interesting ‘shorter’ piece from the band gets to the point faster than your average SoD track. (4 out of 5)
5. (10:13) Has a certain Post-Rock-ish vibe at first, only to quickly go back to the band’s bread and butter of demoralizing slow Death/Doom antics. (4.5 out of 5)
6. (07:50) Lush vocal arrangements thru ought the song keep this very intense and interesting. (4.5 out of 5)
7. (12:08) The dramatic atmospheric elements to slowly build momentum make this my favorite track. Giving you and inch of hope in every turn… only to crush all over again, majestic track. (5 out of 5)
8. (08:03) Brilliant closer full of atmospheric elements. (4 out of 5).
