Album Review
Mac Taylor
Reviewed 2017-04-05
First Album of Dutch musician Annelotte de Graaf. Day-dreamy. Think summer road trip through forests and drifting sunlight. Slightly monotone/repetitive vocals, but completely lovely and smooth. Interspersed with funky guitar and drum bits. Melancholic pop.

No FCC’s.

1. (4:02) Come With Me—repetitive base rhythm, smooth, mellow vocals, upbeat/cheery
2. (3:57) Constant’s Dream—day-dreamy vocals, long chorus with slow backbeat, airy refrains
3. (4:07) Fading Lines—solid guitar rhythm with electric/mystic take, upbeat, long instrumental outro (starts at 2:33)
4. (3:19) I Will Follow—lovely guitar, rather sad, like afternoon sunlight, beat picks up slightly towards end
5. (4:15) Perpetuum Mobile— pointed drum backbeat, smooth chorus, fuzzy, lamenting
6. (3:56) Right Now— melancholic pop, soft-voiced, repetitive & sometimes funky guitar and drum rhythm
7. (3:16) Apophenia—esoteric, kraut-inspired drums, nostalgic, drifting guitar pieces throughout
8. (3:19) This Time—upbeat guitar/drums, day-dreamy lyrics that glide over beat
9. (6:55) Turning Light— pop-y guitar / almost electronic backbeat, dispersed periods of only instrumentals
10. (2:22) White Fuzz— melancholic vocals over repetitive but rad guitar, fuzzy
