I admit, the cover art caught my eye and I rescued this from the discard pile where the screening party sent it. Outsider Music is an acquired taste admittedly. Try also Wesley Willis, Bozo, Tangela Tricoli, and all the American Song Poem Anthology stuff, John Trubee. The best part of this genre is its brutal honesty, lyrics cut to the point, low on metaphors, high on blatant reality whether it's about loneliness or how shallow and evil most people are. Fels nails it.
