Dan Ghenacia & Chris Carrier: Vaporized

Wow, two huge names in dance music, Ghenacia and Carrier, team up on this really funky and trippy EP. Everything is funky on this release, and these guys go a little bit nutty, but they're having SO much fun doing it. The signature piece is #1 "Vaporized", which is incredible. Fiery and fun. #2 "Wind and Fire" is literally electro-disco thrown into a blender. #3 "The Green Bell" is sci-fi goodness. I loved them all and you should too.

1. "Vaporized" (7:48): Snappy drums! There's so much funky-ness going on here - electro warblings, drum rolls, a little sexy breathing, and a fabulous synth jumping in to keep things fiery. SO GOOD!
2. "Wind And Fire Dub Mix" (7:54): Electro-funk-disco here, with all sorts of space-jazz effects, broken beats, exotic percussion, deep groovy basslines, a mish-mash of fun sounds.
3. "The Green Bell" (5:52): Totally tripped-out sci-fi track with all sorts of weird synth melodies and vocal manipulations & effects. Goes all over the place, plays around, and is kind of fun once you're finished with it.
