Flashback, “Foxhounds and Fiddles”

The band Flashback reunited after a break of 22 years to bring us this album, or what I consider “Bluegrass for every mood”. Follow up to Pinecastle’s radio sampler of last fall. Best to me:1, 2, 7, 10
1. 2:50 med – traditional Bluegrass
2. 2:43 slow/med – nice vocals with mellow strings and banjo
3. 3:54 slow – BG inspired ballad – waltzing fiddle
4. 2:26 med/fast – trad BG
5. 2:59 slow/med – country tune, almost honky tonk
6. 2:14 med/fast – trad BG
7. 3:05 med – BG instrumental with banjo mastery
8. 3:38 slow – classic country with fiddle
9. 2:06 med/fast – trad BG
10. 3:31 slow/med – country ballad
11. 2:04 med – BG infused mountain harmonies
12. 3:09 med – BG touches on a tune longing for Georgia
