This album really has two types of music: unexceptional country rock and more interesting (perhaps more experimental, definitely out of his comfort zone). I liked the songs that deviate from the generic to explore and play, like # 2, 3, 6, 10, 11.
1. med – generic country rock
2. slow/med - bluesy
3. med – fiddle dominant folk rock
4. med - meandering traveling tune
5. slow/med – country rock, vocals have nice texture, military drum in background
6. slow/med – country rock with blues feel
7. med – country rock
8. med – VERY COUNTRY
9. slow/med – country rock
10. slow/med – most unique song on album; singer/songwriter with acoustic finger picking
11. slow/med – same as #10, but I think 10 is better
