Review: jazz chanteuse returns to her roots with recordings of R&B, soul, & blues tunes that all came out of Memphis originally. I sounds and feels like Memphis and also sounds and feels like only a Dee Dee Bridgewater album can with her own passion, originality, and incredibly dynamic vocals on each take. It was recorded in Memphis.
