From Oakland, this self-titled release comprises the various talents of: Ryan Page, Ryan Ross Smith, Daniel Steffey & Nick Wang, Live & studio recordings make this an energetic and uncompromising experimental delight, all infused with a harsh reality. A splendid release.

Like: Mytrip, Coagul, A Story of Rats, Hellvete
All very good

No FCC’s (Instrumentals-manipulated spoken work / samples * “Starboy” does have FCC’s although it’s hard to tell if they are used in the track)

1) *Cltr-Z & Talujon Ensemble–Fontana Mix/WBAI (John Cage)(10.06) Eerie opening that does not disappoint – restrained percussion complimented by an infectious industrial grit. Spoken word & samples are used to maximum effect – interesting use of the pop track Starboy.
2) Study For Electronics Ensemble (Nicholas Wang) (10.04) Abrasive & repetitive drilling sounds. The onslaught becomes trance like & even melodic. Jesus and Mary Chain after a few pints.
3) Etude #51 (Ryan Page) (6.58) Tap dancing woodpeckers introduce an ominous bass – And then flight – An aircraft in either agony or ecstasy.
4) Proles (Ryan Ross Smith) (10.12) An amalgam of fog horns, whistles & various industrial sounds for the entire track - Shades of a more gothic underbelly appear briefly at various times.
