Debut album from Georgia small town musician Brett Cobb. It is described as “full of blue-eyed soul, country funk, and swamp boogie,” with a twinge of “southern gospel.” The weathered, experienced voice just doesn’t match the young man with the appearance of a sun kissed flower child of the album cover. This album seems to really progress and evolve. All of the songs are good. You can’t go wrong. But the last 3 were exceptional. Best: 6,7,8*,9*,10*

1. Med - Upbeat, heartwarming, familiar sounding voice
2*. Slow - Honest, emotive depiction of rural folk
3*. Slow - Folk rock love song with rich timbre in voice
4*. Med - Americana rock with unique variation in sound and good lyrics
5. Slow/Med - Appealing image of people in the country
6*. Med - Revealing self-portrait
7*. Slow - Nice, vocally dominant, title track, sad sounding
8*. Slow - Wow, here’s some country funk!
9*. Slow - Acoustic, storyteller tradition with some soul/funk
10*. Slow - Unique guitar/funk sound
