First thought was sacrilege. First listen was WOW! The music of Miles Davis from 1969 to 74 reconstructed and mix translated by Bill Laswell. All 4 tracks are GREAT. #2, 3 and 4 are absolutely FANTASTIC. Great liner notes by various authors, A good read.
**1: 15:20 Miles' trumpet drifting in and around
***2: 16:06 sitar laced drum groove with trumpet wah wah Jimi Hendrix guitar homage, nice sax work, it is all here.
****3: 14:34 Tabla fusion, funk, R&B first half, then drum set groove.
***4:13:38 more of a spacey ambient dub thing.Trumpet wah wah.
