"Solo" project of Doug Gillard and Tim Tobias, who were the lead guitarist and bassist for Guided by Voices at the time. Second of two albums from them. Songs alternate between Doug's and Tim's writing/vocals, but they make the album sound good as a unified whole, presenting creative pop ditties that rock.

Sadly, KZSU's copy of this CD got lost early on. I've been playing the copy from my own collection.

1- A nicely digging midtempo rocker (Doug)
2- Very catchy and fast (Tim)
3- Catchy 5/4, kind of a '60s rock sound
7- Gently soaring chords that show off a proggy influence (Doug)
11- Big and grand, but maybe overstays its welcome a little (Tim)
