Lovely experimental sounds. An acousitc guitar is invovled in the making of this music, but it can't really be called guitar music in any traditional sense. Junghans uses extended instrument techniques to create a whole new and unexpected palette of sounds from his guitars; the music mutates and meanders across the album in a free flowing structure with a constant pulse underneath. -nari

1. tense ripples that fluctuate and diminish
2. acoustic pitch bend masterpiece
3. a lull after track 2; chutes and ladders
4. less 'challenging'; pretty, plaintive chord changes; i love this track
5. more melodic than the rest - outlines a minor chord; quiet and frigid
6. more prosodic - short speechlike bursts or waves/murmurs of sound
7. like the climax of the previous piece - strums almost the same chord for the whole song, but intensity of bass, volume & attack makes it fiery
8. textbook Reich/Glass minimalism: unchanging rhythm & slowly changing harmonies; needs 10+ minutes to realize the whole unfolding
