Super fine prog jazz recorded live in 1973. Bad ass drumming, super tight electric bass and keys that come across like Black Sabbath riffs at times, topped off with Wyatt doing experimental vocalizations now and then. This was a brief side project of Robert Wyatt (Soft Machine) where he teamed up with Bill MacCormick, Dave MacCrae and Phil Miller (bass, keys, guit, respect.). What really shines on this recording is Miller’s perfect guitar playing (Colin, are you listening?), searing yet undeniably jazzy and tasteful. For fans of later Miles Davis, Soft Machine, Eno’s 801.
