The Advent: Sketched for Life

Germany’s pioneering techno label sends us a sample of The Advent – the 8 tracks on this CD are mostly bangin’ Teutonic techno. Some tracks have a bit more trippy-trance style than others, but for the most part, this is all just the kind of techno that pounds at ya. Try: 1,3,4,7,8.
1. Intense straight-up bangin’ Teutonic techno w/ huge pounding beats.
2. Bass loop w/ sci-fi effect & vocal sample – kind of “tech-house”.
3. Electro-breakbeat, sinister robo-vocal & kind of retro feel
4. Intense driving techno – rolling bass & mechanical drones
5. Techno-y trance – some synth loops & trippy buildups
6. Trippy techno – synth loops kind of warble around & build up
7. More space-y techno w/ big pounding beats & warbly loop
8. Tech-y trance w/ a neat little acid-y loop, pretty fast track ~ 140+ bpm
