Very nice R&B-influenced jazz, led by Hunter on 8-stringed guitar. As you probably know, he plays the guitar and bass lines simultaneously, and often tweaks the guitar sound to mimic a B-3 organ. His writing is upbeat and funky.

He's got a good band here. John Ellis provides some meaty tenor-sax solos, and Gregoire Maret on "chromatic harmonica" adds a bluesy/bucolic sound.

Fun stuff. Every track is worth a spin.

- Midtempo with wacky swirling from sax & harmonica
- Slow street funk
- Latin feel, but a bit offbeat
- Midtempo, loping, bluesy
- Midtempo funk
- Latin interlude featuring harmonica
- Gospel tune done as an upbeat blues
- Fast shuffle
- Interlude ... w/drum machine?
- Midtempo
- Midtempo, with odd rhythm
- Slyly funky
- Slowish w/happy staggering theme
