I hear on this CD rawness ā raw emotion in the singing and lyrics, raw production of the two-man band, and raw, obtuse melodies, especially in the wavering attachment of the singing to a melody line ā that remind me a lot of Mission of Burma. Iām not saying that this is the second coming of MoB (that position is taken) but the influence is clear. Fast (mostly), simple punk tunes. My favorites: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10. All of those are pretty fast. Tracks 6, 7, and 8 are slower but also good.
