Good soundtrack, with an unusual and eclectic group of songs. There are many songs that experiment with different styles on this CD, from folk to reggae to Indian hip-hop. This is definitely worth listening to. A very enjoyable CD. Various artists mentioned on the CD case.

1) Moonshine– starts with dialogue about surfing; second half is mellow, bright guitar solo 2) Rainbow– duet with nice harmonica and guitar instrumentals; quiet, upbeat; seems like a combination of alternative rock and folk music 3) Even After All– cool, mellow song; male singer’s style and steady drum beat give it a kind of reggae feeling 4) Hobo Blues– all instrumental, with a steady and repetitive melody; mostly just harmonica solo above the music 5) Relate to Me– pretty, light song; male vocalist has a very clear and clean voice; seems vaguely reminiscent of some Beatles songs 6) The Cove– all instrumental; pretty, upbeat, relaxing with guitar focus 7) Holes to Heaven– kind of boring song; not bad, but pretty standard; male vocalist with guitar instrumentals, consistent and relaxing melody 8) Dark Water and Stars– quiet, pretty ballad with guitar, organ (?), and ethereal female vocalist 9) My Guru– starts out with traditional-sounding Indian melody, infused with a hip-hop beat about 30 seconds in; very repetitive 10) Honor and Harmony– like #7, a kind of boring and standard song; also plays around with a kind of reggae beat and vocal style; male vocalist with drums and guitar; kind of a cool thing near the end (listen for the springy noise) 11) Liver Splash– all instrumental; upbeat, jazzy, sunny piece; unfortunately, pretty forgettable (think elevator music for surfing); might make a good sound bed 12) Underwater Love– funny, strange song; breathy female vocalist with shrieking and bubble sound effects in the background 13) Thicker than Water– sound of water in background at beginning; sad, bittersweet melody with guitar and violin; male vocalist has deep, calm voice 14) Witchi Tai To– ringing bells with quiet, gentle male vocalists; kind of a chanting melody
