Dark, soulful indie rock. Heavy beats and layered instrumentation are mixed with two introspective, completely distinctive vocalists who harmonize in strange and eerily moving ways. The highlight is definitely the vocal powers on display, but the beats manage to remain engaging and excellently complementary. If you heard their debut EP, this is similar, but with a much grittier and fleshed sound. It’s not quite rock, not quite soul, not quite hip hop, what is it? Recommended tracks: 5, 4(FCC), 3, 9, 7, 2.

1. Driving bassline, horns and sax. Flutes and vocals soar above it all.
*2. Track from their EP. It’s still excellent, with ghostly vocals and guitar.
*3. Sinister, powerful lyrics. The double vocalists really come into play.
**4. Distills the essence of their sound, with contemplative lyrics and amazing harmonies. FCC: fucking
**5. Acapella track with crazy dynamics.
6. Sonorous and opium laced. Distorted guitar, heavy bass. FCC: fucking.
*7. Slower, melodic bass and guitar lines.
8. Wailing vocals, distortion.
*9. Soft, seductive. Crazy horns come in. Very tight.
