Fairly straight stuff, with rich piano chords and bright horn lines. Soft touch overall, often mixing '60s jazz with chamber-music counterpoint. Playful and accessible with a European sound.|
Soloing tends to stick to the normal jazz motif, even on freer tracks like #3, with occasional way-out-there improv such as the intro to #2 or #10. Cleanly executed stuff, worth playing during any contemporary or even avant jazz segment.
