Punk rock ‘n’ roll with street girl attitude (snotty punk vocals – in a good way), pop harmonies, and feisty fashion sense – from Phoenix, AZ! Tight, driving, catchy songs with layered background vocals. Les Hell on Heels has only been together since Fall 2003; members of the band have been part of other all-girl punk bands, the Peeps and the Tempe Tramps. They like to make vulgar jokes together. The record label, Bomp!, is one of the oldest surviving indie labels (started in 1974 by Greg Shaw, who recently passed away). Influences include Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, L7, Joan Jett, The Cramps.
