Mostly guitar and accordion renditions of very familiar songs. Probably fun to see at a bar or café, and this CD sounds “live-to-tape” Very amateur, and they do a fine job of it.
I’m not doing a track-by-track since they’re all about 1:30 long and all come from the same place. I will categorize:
Instrumentals (3/4 time): 1, 3, 4, 11 (torch song?), 19, 20
Instrumentals (4/4): 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15 (we called this “do your balls hang low?”), 16,
17 (accoridian makes it sound Cajun), 18
piano+clarinet (no guitar & accordion) instrumentals: 6, 12
Instantly recognizable song (to me at least):2 (they change the lyrics), 9
