Indie/post-rock with electronic and acoustic elements. Male vocals throughout (which sometimes sound like Scott Weiland and other times like Rogue Wave). This is the brain-child of Seattleites Rick & Andy Wright (Andy is one of the founding members of Anti-Flag). They attempt to blend rock, electronic, and instrumentals into a sound they call ‘space tundra.’ Sometimes they hit the mark, and different elements blend seamlessly. Other times the songs are disjointed, but even the modular sections provide worthwhile snippets of rock & electronic.
FCC clean. Picks: 1,5,2

**1: (4:27) Mellow start with electronic beeps & creeps. Enter piano, horns, even kids on a playground. Fast electronic drums drive the middle. Mellow fade-out w/ horns and piano. Love it!
*2: (6:44) Static intro, w/ acoustic and reverby guitar. Slightly repetitive until the last minute, when the tempo picks up w/ fast Neutral Milk Hotel guitars. Worth it just for the last 1:30.
*3: (6:21) Distortions & metal-screeching intro into driving guitars & drums. Violins and hand claps take over. Slow acoustic fade-out with some woodblocks thrown in for good measure.
4: (6:33) Ticking clock and finger-picked electric guitar underneath softer, spooky vocals. Vibraphones, fuzzed-out drums, piano. Ends w/ chantish vocals.
**5: (6:08) Electric piano and drums in the intro. Great, abrupt tempo changes. Western-style piano leads into fast, speaking vocals. Quiet piano ending.
6: (4:32) Electronic pucker & water noise. Soft vocals. Mellow & ambient. Pass.
7: (5:42) Alarm beeps & raspy vocals lead into mid-tempo, straight-forward rock song. Electronic bridge.
8: (5:56) Walking bass, and electric guitars throughout. Slow fade-out.
*9: (8:13) Synth, electric piano, horns. Ambient and mellow (so this is ‘space tundra,’ sounds like Sigur Ros to me). Fades out with 1:30 left. Pass on the reprise of ‘Credit’ (Track 3) at the end.
