She was born in Paris to Portuguese parents and adds a touch of the cafe to her Portuguese/Brazilian roots. She has a warm, gentle voice, nicely backed by acoustic guitar/accordion, perc/sax. It’s almost all slow, relaxed & sophisticated with an intimate, lightly jazzy feel. In Portuguese.
1. Downtempo, low-key & romantic. Sweet and pretty.
2. Light w/a nice lazy sway.
*3. A warm, relaxed bal musette-esque ballad.
*4. Sweet use of accordion & berimbau accent nicely.
5. Lazy w/a melodic folksong feeling.
*6. Faster. A bright & playful dance.
7. Slow & delicate. Almost like a lullaby.
