Bossa with modern Nu-Jazz feel.
Laid back like Fila Brazillia / Theivery Corporation. English/Spanish vocals. Malena has a beautiful rich voice. She is originally from Cuba and now lives in Atlanta, GA.
Tracks (5),(7),(8) really shine.
(1) Acid jazz/ bossa.
(2) Midtempo. Thumping 4/4 beat, uplifting vocals.
(3) Downtempo. Guitar accompaniment.
(4) Lounge-y, downtempo.
**(5) Bossa with lovely swinging tempo.
(6) Lists names of Cuban women over a beat.
**(7) Sultry, keyboard and strings accompaniment and a gorgeous beat.
**(8) Downtempo, harmonic bossa.
(9) Slow torch ballad. Keyboard accompaniment.
(10) Another slow ballad.
