Jammin', German guitar rock circa: 1973. Guru Guru was from a little village near Heidelberg which is pretty amazing considering the music they were making. One of the many "krautrock" bands who weren't really discovered until the mid-90's. (Thanks to the reissue of their stellar 1970 debut "UFO"). This is more of a straight "70's rock" with a few heavy moments here & there. The Ax Genrich's guitar and Mani Neumauer drum work is most notable Overall, a pretty solid piece of work.

((((1)))) Loose, funky, sometimes pretty heavy riffin'. Very typical of the era vocals (think: early Pink Floyd, The Who).
(((2))) A melody of Eddie Cochrane songs with some nice dual guitar action, hand claps, drum breaks.
((((3)))) Twangy and resonating chords, big tribal drums (oddly similar to the Scorps "I'm Going Mad"). Silly ass lyrics.
(((4))) Strummy, psych rock, like the Dead in some places but not as lazy sounding. The second half gets weird: layers of distortion & noise and random voice in German.
(((((5))))) Slow, epic & mellow. Total "meltdown" stoner psych. Very airy and really nice.
