Feliz navidad! Christmas music in the Latin tradition played with flamenco-esque flair on guitars. You know most of these songs, but here they are given a new flavor. Check out especially:
2. Upbeat street rumba w/nicely gritty male vox. Great fun.
3. Starts mellow, picks up w/palmas & gypsy violin.
5. Strats simple, turns into a brassy Latin jazz jam w/great horn solo.
6. Beautiful “Silent Night” in Spanish. Husky fem vox.
8. Sweetly lively Mexican-infused classic w/jazzy male vox.
9. Irving Berlin would not recognize this version of White Christmas.
10. A sunny Winter Wonderland w/hints of Brazil. Upbeat & wiggly.
