Goth-rock, from Chicago. Vocals a lot like Christian Death, the music is very plodding (but often fast), drum- and bass-heavy with heavy drums, interesting (but not original) guitar noises and the production is muddy bordering on lousy. Because of that, the songs appear to completely lack any kind of melody, but this is not bad, not remarkable either, truly old-school '80s (or earlier).

Rec: 4, 7

Faster, drums, monotonous melody
Starts off ambient, :30 in goes into almost a tribal drum-based song, fast
Mid-paced, good ideas, bad production
Slightly slower, goth post punk, good layered sound
Bauhaus-like from In The Flat Field (not as good or well developed though)
More tribal
Plodding tribal beat, possibly the best track
Almost a melody here, which is rather remarkable.
