Uppity, often speedy folk-metal from Finland. Really festive and lots of fun. Like their their country mates, Finntroll they incorporate elements of “Hummpa” (aka: Finnish Polka) along with metal riffing. Great stuff.

(((((1))))) Bouncy, fast, “fiddle-mosh” tempo and sung with clear but mean Finnish vocals.
((((2)))) More folk but still underscore by the thick riffs. Oddly sounds like sped up, metalized traditional Italian or French with all the accordian.
(((3))) Catchy but a little too stiff and chorus-laden to work.
((((4)))) A mix of heavy rock, 1-2-3 tempos, English lyrics and some Sami (the Scandinavian equivalent of Native Americans) chanting/”joiking”. Neat.
((((5)))) Roustabout, silly but fun sort like the Pogues with a Finnish metal vibe.
(((6))) Steady, mid-paced, very catchy, big on the accordian & fiddle. A little flat in the chorus though.
((((7)))) Melodic, well-punctucated verses and again, festive and “you need to drink to this” feeling.
(((8)))) Pretty good, “gather round ‘round the fire” after you’ve had 5 too many” ballad.
((((9))))) Bouncy, repetitive verses with some rad tempo changes.
((((10))))) Fast, kinda aggressive folk-metal with some good varitations in vocals.
((((11)))) Mid-paced, very percussion & fiddle focused. Gets better over time.
(((12)))) Ballad-like with heavy guitars and low vocals.
(((13))) Shouted vocals, “mosh-accordian” lots of neat changes but this would’ve worked better earlier on the album.
((((14)))) Slow build up, sounds Sami (“Lapplander”) –styled yoiking with some flute, much more folk than metal sound. Interesting.
(((((15))))) Resonating fiddle, more yoiking, and LOTS of good riffs and folksy jams.
