More teenage retro-thrash metal from Southern Cali. While this riffs and vocal tones have been done a gazillion times, Hexen does manage to make this stuff still sound fun and enjoyable. Overall, pretty cool thrash with clear production and decent vocals. If you like Dark Angel, Defiance, Heathen you’ll probably like this.

((((1))))) Starts with a movie-like sample with a bomb exploding. Then rad, mid-paced very 80’s metal/thrash metal with HUGE riffs and gang vocals.
(((((2))))) (FCC “Fucking” sung once) Crossover infected thrash ‘ala S.O.D. really basic but completely moshable.
((((3)))) Bassy, with a nice melodic guitar harmony intro, followed by more thrash with a strong Kreator/Dark Angel influence
((((4))))) Tight sound, good build up and strong aggressive tempo. So 80’s you’ll have to adjust your white trainer shoes.
(((5))) Acoustic intro, slow build up, not bad but a little flat with the mid-paced thrash thing that too many others have done & failed at.
(((6))) Galloping, bassy thrash with a few “groovey” breakdowns ‘ala Testament.
(((((7)))) Traditional metal “march” intro solid speedy aggressive yet melodic feeling. Excellent!
(((8))) Decent but mostly average thrash.
((((9)))) Commanding traditional 80’s metal with strong riffing with a more than a liberal dose of Slayer crossed with ‘Maiden’s guitar harmonies.
((((10)))) Tons of quitar squigglies into more fast, raging thrash with a catchy chorus & plenty of bass. Pretty rad.
(((11))) Cheesy but decent instrumental interlude they learned at G.I.T.
(((12))) Movie sample, excessive, wanky sputtering “epic thrash” ? Not bad but it’s been done already.
((13)) Typical mellow outro.
