All instrumental (mostly) “noise jazz party prog” as this Daly City (local) label describes this. A pretty fucked up amalgam of Fender Rhodes “jazzy” sense thrown in with guitar driven noise rock and plenty of mathy beats. Play this along with all those fantastic new Cuniform releases and we’ll sound like “prog” is the “next big thing” (sad, but this is how music trends get started, by little old college radio). That aside, this is great stuff made even better by the fact that its local.

1) intense, borders on noise rock and avante prog at the same time, wall of sound tempered only by Rhodes
2) another wall of rockin mathiness, intens
3) folky acoustic with accordian, mellow but bent
4) almost indie rock guitar strummy feel, piano, buried vocals in there that rise to the surface, almost accessible despite the math beats scattered like dead bodies (and the broken glass)
5) intensity that’s made strange with little pokes of cheesy Rhodes then halfway through (wtf?!?) a simple beat accompanied by mostly accordion makes the fray, hmmm
6) a simple proggy Rhodes fueled mellow feel at first gives way to wall of sound intensity that ebbs and flows, builds, stops, comes back and of course beats you over the head to end it all
