Austrian experimental/ambient electronics/guitar master's 4th or so studio album. Even more drone-y and ambient than earlier works, but then there are also sections with more exposed, almost unaltered guitar than his earlier works had too. Most parts are very calm and slow. Track 1 is definitely a standout, but if you're unsure, start with 5 or 8. You can't really go wrong here. Watch for lots of early endings - all noted below.

**1. 10 min mini-symphony: A concoction of ambience and noise elements slowly erupt for first 2:30, then gorgeous/sparse acoustic guitar lines over ambience, washes of hazy drone start to take over around 4:45 and dominate to the end. Really serene and beautiful second half - like Ekkehard Ehlers Plays John Cassavetes, Pt. 1.
2. End of last song carries into My Bloody Valentine/buzzsaw/cello sounding drone notes. Weird percussion-y stuff in the background turns out to be someone messing with piano strings. Quiet piano noodling only for last minute, ends a little early. (8:07)
*3. Darker ambience, various shades of altered guitar notes...becomes lighter and picks up a sort of off-kilter rhythm. Organ-like sounds for a short interlude around 3:00, then off-kilter guitar returns for last 1 min. Fades a little early - silent with about 0:10 left. (4:36)
4. More acoustic plucking with lots of reverb, lots of altered sounds and ambience. Very calm and spacious. Ends early by slowly fading - really quiet past 1:00 left. (4:10)
*5. Ambient fuzziness builds very slowly (but very surely) with a little bit of percussive industrial-sounding noises (as in factories). Really starts to build and open up to epic proportions - Sigur Ros + a symphony - after a few minutes. Around 7 mins this fades and the rest is like eerie echoes of ambient Aphex Twin. Very quiet for last 2 mins - you might want to just fade out at some point. (9:22)
6. Ambient drones and some tweaky electronics here and there. Begins to fade at 0:40 left. (3:59)
7. Guitar that sounds like Cornelius + Charalambides if that makes any sense, then turns more ambient. Fairly quiet past 0:30 left (5:49)
*8. What sounds like a tabla drone, guitar plucks/strums, washes of fuzzy ambience build. Acoustic strums at the end. (5:52)
