Folky, poppy songset from a male/female duo. The sound is reminiscent of The Doors, or Stan Ridgway, or even a fleshed-out version of Jorma Kaukonen’s (Airplane, Hot Tuna) album Quah, but they have hit on something quite unique. Use of organ, tambourines, guitar, drums, bass. This is a great collection of dreamy, relaxed, ethereal ventures; perfect for a country drive – or a weekend radio show, or evening, or morning. I like the whole lot. Start with 1, 3, 7, 8. No FCC’s.

1. (3:48) Mid. Laid-back tune with whistling, tambourine, horn, along with standard rock instrumentation. Male and female vocals. Great for a morning play.
2. (3:10) Mid. A bit similar to #1 with slightly different instrumentation. Organ influenced, Doors-ish quality.
3. (4:00) Mid. Soft, quick drumming set behind nice airy mix of organ, guitar, bass.
4. (4:12) Slow/Mid. A bit of a lyrical reprise of #1, but different sound. Relaxed and easy.
5. (2:27) Slow. (Instrumental) Guitar plucking, slow drumming, bass and tambourine create a really mellow mood.
6. (5:10) Slow/Mid. Whistle intro with soft band in background, continuing during verse breaks. Male/Femal duet.
7. (3:52) Slow. Minimal, lots of space. Organ predominant. A dreamy journey through an ethereal lyrical bent.
8. (3:10) Mid/Fast. Upbeat acoustic guitar and rhythm section with lyrical emphasis. Rockin’ folky feel.
9. (4:34) Slow/Mid. Acoustic, tambourine, great beat, more interesting lyrics. Male/Femal vocals.
10. (6:34) Slow/Mid. Dreamy and airy vocal delivery which mimics the music. Great organ 4 minutes in.
