Opera/musical theater by 12th Century visionary & abbess Hildegard von Bingen ( she would have been 910 years old on Sept 17th), in Latin with a modern soundscape twist . Rock/electronics tinged. The story is about the
struggle between a Soul, the Devil and a host of allegorical virtues. Each Act is composed by a different Hildegurl. This is one opera that I would like to see. It was performed in 1998 at Lincoln Center. Every track is unique and sounds great.
1: 2:54 prologue typical beautiful sounding female chorus
2: 13:58 ACT 1 typical beautiful sounding female chorus then @ 7 min brief kick out the jams then back and forth with atmospherics, drone and brief outbursts
