First Western unearthing of this 1975 Japanese Cosmic Space/Prog Rock/Psych masterpiece. Later a few of these cats went on to make new age, namely Masanori “Kitaro” Takahashi. Tangerine Dream’s Klaus Schulze produced this hence, bridging the arguably best psych scenes in the world. Get your ears around this if you like: Hawkwind, Gong, early 70’s Pink Floyd, Camel, Acid Mother’s Temple (who probably nabbed a few ideas from F.E.F.B.), bongs, and the “smokier” side of KFJC. Join our mental phase sound, indeed! Mind. Totally. Blown.

((((((1)))))) Sloooow drift into space with mellotron, laser swooshes, sitar, folky guitars with patient Camel/Hawkwind-ish vocals. Later goes into a “typical” 70’s psych/prog slow burn and some tripEEE chanting in Japanese.
((((((2)))))) Folky, mellotron & moog laden prog/psych with Japanese vocals that has phrasings/tone similar to Pete Barden of Camel/J. Hayward of Moody Blues. Later our space brothers take off across the day glo universe..
((((((3)))))) Maan, Hawkwind was sooo riiight-space IS deep. Here’s why!
(((((((4))))))) Slightly Floydian guitars and airy, trippy vocals in English along with more mellotron and near glissado guitars similar to Gong.
((((((5)))))) Quiet drift out into the oceans of Mars.
((((6)))) Flute, slow guitars and emotive vocals then bombastic keyboards and slow David Gilmour-ish guitars.
((((((7))))) Electronic, cosmic ambient/space rock with tribal drumming blends into…
(((((((8))))))) & ((((((9)))))) (Both tracks blend together) Way gone vocals -moving from one channel to the next or really one side of your brain to the next. Neat mix of 70’s folky psych and prog.
((((((((10))))))) A-mazing slow burner, vocal-centric psych-prog later with symphonic parts. Goes in the same direction as primo ‘Floyd, Camel & Novalis
