Black Industrial-Noise & Metal with the Black Metal parts culled to the bare minimum of pure evil, relentless repetition and utter hate for Christianity. Havohej is the twisted vision of Paul Ledney (of the equally messed up Profanatica and Crowned In Semen). There’s no guitar and merely electronic drums (though programmed really well), bass and vicious vocals. The band name is Jehovah backwards but this spews straightforwardly satanic. Also, the line “I vomit on God’s child” (from 1993’s “Weeping in Heaven”) was sampled by Spazz on “Gary Mordano’s Record Vault Shirt”. The titles are all strangely spelled. Recommend if you like it REALLY fuckin’ evil & room clearin’.

SIDE 1
((((1)))) Big thundering percussion, into fast, evil & repetitious rumbling and some layers of noise.
(((((2)))))) Relentless hammering Black/Industrial Metal with harsh but very present and diabolical vocals.
((((3)))) Drum bursts, more abyssic shouting about “black…cum…venomous…!” (too odd to be an FCC) some odd “satanic vaccum” effect in the background. Fucking weird but totally worthwhile.
(((((4))))) Noise & rumbles that eventually erupts into more slow & murky Black Metal with satanic vocals pointed right at the heart of the church. Ends with a shit ton of rumble and a (semi-) locked groove (!)

SIDE 2
((((1)))) Hornet’s nest drone then really good dark ambient.
((((2)))) Mid-paced battering drum machine and bass rumbles, more head knockin’ repetition and bursts of deep roaring vocals and layers of crazy effects. Leads into…
(((((3))))) Way fucked up flanger (?) layers and sounds of hell’s caverns with the occasional vocal growls yet the bass is very normal & steady. Difficult listening as it is.
((((4)))) Blurry fast Black Metal not unlike the first track on side one but filled with high pitched noise and more roaring from satan’s torture chamber vocals. Bookends the intro at the end that makes it kinda eerie if you’re playing this say, at 3am or right after “University Public Worship”.
