3rd album of singer-songwriter Jimmy Peters, who says his heroes are Randy Newman, Warren Zevon, Joni Mitchell, John Prine, Jonathan Richmond, Jane Siberry and Elvis Costello. I hear some Bob Dylan influence too. Peters plays peddle steel guitar to produce the typical country, twangy sound, accompanied by fiddle, keyboards, accordion (on some) and percussion.
