How to describe: If Jesus and Mary Chain were an 80’s synth rock band, if Tuxedomoon were a Scottish psyche band, if Joy Division used drum machines, if early Cure had a different singer. There is definitely something 80’s about this Brooklyn group, the minor keys, the drum machine that’s dark new wave dancey half the time, understated fuzzed vocals, fuzzy reverby guitars. Excellent stuff. For fans fo all the aforementioned bands. All songs great, no FCCs.

2) upbeat and peppy, poppy, somehow reminds me of OutKast’s “hey ya”

13) different in that the guitar takes center, deep twangy, cool fun beat and interesting sounds
