Sexy, jazzy female vocalist backed by piano, bass, autoharp, sax, and percussion. This new York-based Cuban singer has a rich, surprisingly deep voice that throbs with passion and emotion. No frills but nicely sophisticated.
1. Quiet strings lead into slow, husky love song.
*2. Light midtempo Cuban jazz w/style.
3. Hip bass leads into downtempo version of a Spanish-language classic.
4. Slow and lovely ballad w/some soaring vocals & rich piano.
*5. Sax adds nice late night touch to lightly swaying jazz vocals.
*6. Midtempo jazz for sax & vocals. Cool counterpoint for the two.
*7. A capella intro to bright upbeat percussive Latin jazz.
8. Slow and sad ballad w/a rich arrangement for vox/piano.
9. Dishy slow dance for voice/bass/perc. Nicely sophisticated.
