Country/folk/folk-rock/ with Earle's scratchy/throaty voice. The title comes from the final song from Hank Williams in1952. His 14th album, First original material recording in three years, produced by T Bone Burnett, Earle also has a novel of the same name. All tracks are really good.
****1: 3:29 fast rockabilly, great get up and dance, real nice vocal with great backup band
****2: 2:58 slow to mid, great holler, great lyrics, a powerful man is humbled at end of life.
3: 4:15 solo vocal intro then the band, mid to faster
***4: 3:21 mid to faster, banjo & violin, nice ballad
5: 4:00 slow to mid, written for Joan Baez in 1982
****6: 4:26 mid to slightly faster, GREAT lyrics with T Bone Burnett signature sound.
7: 2:51 slow, simple guitar picking
8: 3:23 slow, nice steel guitar sound
