A nice EP of acid-drenched electronic. Some house, some wandering freeform compositions and a bit of ambient. This is the 5th release from the ambitiously-titled The Beat Club, who has released a bunch of stuff via his own label, Electrobeat, along with works by Fuzzy Logic, Santa Fe, Toys For The Revolution and Urban Select.

FCC CLEAN

*1. Sparse house with a dark minimalist palette. For fans of Pantha du Price. (Take note of the 1 minute acoustic guitar intro) *2. Dark echoey piano-driven electronic. Nice highhat notes gives it an almost dancey vibe. 3. Smooth and driving, and with a heavy bassbeat. Spattered with lots of futuristic textures. 4. A bit of a funk with a nice laser kick-drum effect and a heavy acid vibe. 5. Slow, dark, free-form electronic. Mutant and with sinister minimalist textures. 6. Smooth, ambient, high altitude daydreamer with just a hint of structure. *7. Nice old-school acid house with a somewhat irregular tempo. Great breakbeats and the groans of taxed Roland synthesizers.
