Indie rock/pop outfit from Brooklyn, featuring three gals and one dude. Stylistically,
they have a lot in common with big-name acts like Mates of State, Rilo Kiley, and I
swear at some moments Kimya Dawson. Plenty of vocal melodies and solid drumming
tie the album together. Every track is enjoyable, though sometimes I wish they could
have coaxed a more powerful performance on some tracks. Notwithstanding, tracks
[1, 5, 6, 9, 11] stand out. No FCC violations detected; play away!

01. [3:57] ** Wouldn't Release You -- Nice indie rock with some creative drumming
02. [4:06] Infinite Variation -- Sweet and upbeat
03. [4:45] Never Grieve -- Mid-tempo themes of longing featuring some piano work
04. [2:44] The Mighty Robot -- Fun and lighthearted, with a sudden end
05. [2:22] ** Reunion -- Synth and bass, recalls Mates of State, solid track!
06. [4:06] ** Red -- Ballad with lush harmonies on the chorus, little guitar solo
07. [3:49] Let's Talk Plans -- Straightforward indie rock, more power than pop
08. [3:57] Park Lights -- Soft intro gives way to full band, vocals not as strong as
I hope they would be, though.
09. [3:17] ** Absolutely Miserable -- Maybe a misnamed track, this is one of the most
fun songs on the records.
10. [3:26] Hooray For Tuesday -- Sparse instrumentation, peculiar melodies, fade out.
11. [2:57] ** Coda -- Awesome instrumental track: plodding at first, then snaps into a fast
tempo to close out the last minute of song. Talk over this track or just play it!
12. [3:47] When You Stopped Talking To Me -- Opens with sampled chatter. Another
fun and jumpy tune to close out the album.
