(CLEAN) 10. Mr Complex - Then Was Then f. Truth Enola - Core Records: [92 BPM] The formula for hip hip is come with a dope beat and some nice lyrics top it off with a good hook to give the track some longevity. I think what makes this track is the hook provided by Truth Enola. There have always been comparisons between Enola and 50 Cent and you can hear in it in the melodic delivery and tone. However you cut it, the hook is nice and gives the vibey 90’s inspired track an added dimension for Mr Complex to speak upon the concept of chasing trends through maturation. Nice east coast vibes – M-SMOOTH
