Indie pop, fun. Good voice with strong delivery, lyrics point out injustices and how the personal and bigger picture combine, while still being fun and
meaningful. Slightly queer, blink and you'll miss it. RIYL Courtney Barnett. All tracks good, my faves have +
1. Simple intro song, old synth & voice, 3/4 time
2. +Good rocker with guitars, drums featured on the anthemic vocals
3. Rocker, sings about doing what you can in bad circumstances
4. Easygoing, slower tempo, caring/a bit more personal lyrics.
5. Even slower, a bit down, melodic.
6. + Very melodic, starts slow and speeds up. Feels a little like Beatles
Abbey Road with its prettiness & minor chords.
7. Sounds like the single, a straight-up rocker of a pop hit with a double
meaning in the title-chorus
8. I like the guitar and song, cynical bliss.
9. Fun little short ditty with punk aesthetics
10. Mid-tempo sad love song "when it goes bad" you can nod along with
11. + 3/4 time, sweet and light, more acoustic
12. Just voice and guitar-fast coffeehouse conflicted love song
