Buckle up for a new cosmically exploratory album from Erika, longtime techno/electro/ambient producer from Berlin/Detroit. On this release, her first solo album in a decade, she utilizes her varied background to infuse her signature Detroit techno sound with a variety of sonic influences and thematic elements. The album itself is conceptual in nature, built around the premise of “the irregular life cycles created by three suns circling over a planetary organism that presents two major biomes: rocky crystalline desert, and deep layered forest, each of which exists above and/or below ground, depending on what phase the suns are in.” Far out!
