DESERT BLUES. Veteran Saharan Tuareg band (1979-) with an interesting story as nomadic performers and political refugees. Focus is on traditional hand-drumming, vocals, and Tuareg-influenced electric guitar. All songs in Tuareg language, with additional Spanish on Track 2. No full instrumentals. Note that rhythm typically develops gradually.
