Deep, dank and dusty is the name of the game for Bad Animal’s second vinyl release. San Francisco‘s Safeword (Marc Smith and Clint Stewart) have been on a tear since forming last year in San Francisco. Their debut EP on Bad Animal titled ‘West Portal‘, weaves down more soulful yet dark avenues. Deep vibes, smooth synths and silky vocals are perfectly accompanied by heavy, churning rhythms and tasteful reflections of acid house.
